Judith Siegmund ist Professorin für philosophische Ästhetik an der Zürcher Hochschule der Künste, wo sie den Forschungsbereich Ästhetik und das Doktoratsstudium für Epistemologien ästhetischer Praktiken leitet. Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen in der Theorie künstlerischen Handelns, in theoriegeschichtlichen und aktuellen Fragestellungen der Produktions- und Rezeptionsästhetik sowie der Kunstphilosophie. Sie ist assoziiertes Mitglied des Sonderforschungsbereichs Intervening Arts und seit vielen Jahren als bildende und Konzept-Künstlerin tätig.
